When you chose a moisturizer you should think about choosing one which is not too heavy, quite light, oil free and with non comedogenic properties. This basically means that it is a non-pore clogging moisturizer.
Acne is very often a condition which is inherited from your mother and/or your father, but virtually everyone will experience a breakout of acne some time or other, even if it is only a few spots and not full blown acne. You will still experience the embarrassment and discomfort of a breakout.
The culprit for breakouts is most of the time down to hormones, although sometimes it can be down to medication depending on what you are taking such as androgens. Puberty, menopause and menstrual cycle are normal causes for breakouts, once you have a breakout then stress can be a contributing factor in making it worse.
Make-up tip
It can be difficult at times knowing how to apply your make up without letting the world see that you have a pimple, but without overloading your face with make-up, so how are you going to hide the spot?
For starters, applying too much foundation is not going to work, if anything it will aggravate the acne making it worse, you need to apply a very thin layer of foundation onto your skin. Then you can think about adding some concealer to hide the spot and covering with a little loose powder.
There are women who are worried or concerned about wearing any make up as they believe that it will clog their pores. This is not the case, it just depends what you do with your make up when you apply it. If you know what to do then you can wear make-up and feel great.
Make up can have a positive influence on your self-esteem especially in the event of a break out, and can act as a feel good factor.
Blending while mending, this is the key to keeping your blemishes and pimples hidden as you start off your regime with a cleansed face before you add a thin base of foundation. If your blemishes are red then add a little green concealer over the top of them before adding some natural skin tone colored concealer and covering that with skin tone powder and you are done. No one will be any the wiser.
